Path of the Butterflies

I chose this piece to work on and improve during my portfolio class at Ferris State University. I learned a lot during this process and improved my knowledge and application of composition, color, and lighting. This is the new version after many revisions. I still want to keep going with this piece and see how I can improve it even further!
The original was made with the intention of creating a fantasy environmental piece with a storybook feel. I wanted to put extra attention to detail, especially with the character, in order to tell a story through showing not telling.
